I cannot fully express my appreciation for you two, your web site, and your emails. I started the SCD diet in August of 2013, felt IMMEDIATE improvement, but after about 1 month got stuck. I was unable to add new foods; everything made me sick, so I quit trying and was stuck eating the same meals day after day.

But you emails kept coming with your encouragement to “not give up”, and I kept reading the info on your web site and listening to the pod casts. After finally taking your advice I found that I indeed suffer from low stomach acid; that was the first big improvement. I also finally found a doctor who would listen to me and does in fact believe that “leaky gut” is real (unlike my fancy GI!). She diagnosed my with several of the issues I had read about from you: hormone imbalance, adrenal fatigue due to a nearly non-functioning thyroid, and a systemic candida overgrowth. Finally – after 4 years of struggling – I have some answers and am getting “unstuck” in terms of my diet!

I know I have a ways to go to get completely healthy, but did not want to wait until then to voice my gratitude for all you do! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
