The emotional gains you make when healing are the best gift that I ever received. I have had a ton of setbacks to ground zero, but with each health challenge I find my mental strength and gratitude grow stronger. For those of us with kids we need to remember that how we handle our health issues is teaching them how to handle adversities in their lives. If you are strong, courageous and grateful especially during the scariest health times you are giving your kids one of the best gifts ever.
