Have had heavy bleeding for about 10 days and have been unable to tolerate anything but liquid since last week. The CT scan showed colitis flare up and a cyst on my kidney.
The colitis flareup was likely triggered by Cipro and Macrobid antibiotics I took over the last two months.
I’m quite ill right now and would appreciate suggestions on what kinds of nearly clear liquid foods fitting the SCD, I can eat for a while as I’m getting this under control.
I used the diet in the past with good success but am so sick right now, I could use some assist on figuring out what to make.
The ER doc precribed Flagyl for the colitis and I’d like to try it but have to figure out how to aviod the side effects and end up worse off.

Wow..would have loved to have started with him as a doctor. I would have been on SCD a lot sooner that’s for sure!
